Cozy inn, very good, tasty food, Typical regional dishes and of course there is also very tasty beer from regional breweries. Friendly, courteous service. Prices absolutely okay. All in all very recommendable. Reservation is recommended.

Never eaten such a delicious and tender venison goulash. The atmosphere is also very nice and the prices reasonable. We would love to come back!

Nice beer garden with good service. Cake and coffee very tasty. We will definitely stop by more often. 👍 Today on Saturday we had reserved a table and were there a little earlier. Had the feeling that the "supposed boss" was totally overwhelmed with this situation, although there was still one or the other free table ... a little more serenity with the guest would be very beneficial here. Therefore there is a star deduction from my 4 star rating in retrospect.

I can highly recommend the game dishes, the mountain cheese soup and the spaetzle. Cozy interior, friendly staff and some local products.

When we are in the Allgäu, we like to go here. The service is always friendly and the food is delicious.

We came to this restaurant hungry after a hike. On the front door there was a sign saying "Open today from 2 pm". We got here a few minutes early and waited until after 2 p.m. - nobody opened the door. We learned from the locals that this restaurant would not open again until 2 p.m. the next day. We went elsewhere, very disappointed.

Stayed for 10 days at the Golden Cross was a great vacation. Breakfast and dinner were great 👍🏽 Hostess was very friendly and accommodating, made us feel very comfortable the whole time We would love to come back, can recommend the inn both for dining and staying overnight.

Great knuckle of leg, delicious potato salad, nice service. We loved it, so we ate here on 2 evenings.

We have been spending a few weekends a year in Steibis in the Golden Cross with Erika and Hubert. We have always been looking forward to delicious food such as Rostbraten or Steibinger Spätzle. This time we had friends with us who were totally enthusiastic. The food is always freshly prepared, lovingly arranged and totally delicious!

Nice service that's it! 15 € for 3 pieces of meat with a first slice of bread. Drinks were reasonably expensive. The food was delicious, however, as mentioned before, incredibly expensive. Upon request, they handed in 2 slices of bread. Orders totaling over € 60 were placed for 4 people

After a long drive, we had a very good dinner here in the beer garden. The food was plentiful, tasty and flavorful. Our children especially liked the french fries. The staff and the boss were very friendly. We can recommend the inn without hesitation.

We have been coming to Steibis for many years and the food in the golden cross always tastes fantastic. The high quality and good cuisine let us drop by again and again. A visit is worthwhile and no matter whether spinach spaetzle with mountain cheese or the grill pan ... there is something for every taste.

As long-time regular guests, we cannot just leave the unqualified comments in advance. Here you are not only warmly welcomed and cared for, but also spoiled with the finest culinary delights. Erika, Hubert and their team of many years strive to do their best. Pressed meat, I have no words ... Unbelievable what some people imagine.

I have been coming to the Alpenrose / Goldenes Kreuz since childhood and I will do it again and again. The apartment was as always very clean and cozy, the food was delicious and came exactly as you ordered it. The waitresses were, as always, very friendly and accommodating and with Erika you could have a chat. The breakfast was also very balanced and the requests were met. We are happy to come back anytime!

I come here often. I am satisfied with the staff, they are nice. No objection, only praise. I also liked a pleasant ambience, I noticed that it was very clean. There are many seating areas and they are well separated, so each guest has their own privacy. I especially like to drink ice cream on a sunny terrace. My recommendations.

A spacious apartment with 3 beds and living room and a good place to have dinner below in the restaurant. ideal for a short wintersport vacation.
